I've read the threads re: pulling out the factory stereo on my 97 2.2 CL. My question is regarding the cables on the back of this stereo. I'm not a stereo junkie; i just don't like my iTrip and would like to make a direct connection from my iPod to the stereo. I know this is possible using a Y-Cable--if your stereo has the necessary red & white input on the back.

Does anyone know whether the factory stereo has this input in the back? Thanks in advance for your help!

 

it doesnt have that imput, however there should be a imput for like a blitzsafe or icelink. try searching
