Use either a hacksaw blade or a very sharp pair of sheet metal sheers.

I used a pair of craftsman handi-cuts. then used a fine file to clean up the edges a little.

Hey, try these!!!!

It may sound cheesy, but trust me, they worked really well!!!!!

I installed my factory fogs about 2 weeks ago. Went into the kitchen and grabbed my mulit-shears in my knife set - the scissors that come with the set that you use to cut bones and clean meats and vegetables. Used a piece of tape to mark 15 cm from the sides, then proceeded to trim the plastic - yes, plastic strip in the bumper grill. I got a clean cut, no filing necessary and it was fairly easy.

My only problem is the 2 side screws, I had leverage issues, so I could never really get them in the sides - anyone else have any ideas as to how to get the little (%$*^)*^& in,please let me know!

Thanks to Dustbuster4 I have a set of Factory fogs coming in the mail and look forward to doing this install.

Will I have to run wires to the dash/or will all the wires be there?

Also, Where does the ofg light switch go?

You're welcome!

The kit will come with 2 harnesses that will need to be connected to the factory harness under the hood.

On the '98, the switch will be mounted on the dash on the right side of the clock. There should be a plastic "tab" (the same size as your hazard lights) that you can (carefully) pop out with a small flathead screwdriver. Once out, you will see the connector (plug) in the back of the tab. Just plug the connector into your switch, and push the switch into the hole.

I highly recommend that you go to your local Acura dealer and ask for the installation instructions. They should print them for free. Just tell them that you already bought the kit, and need the instructions.

If a dealer is not close, check with "dajuice27" I gave him a set of install instructions for the '98/'99 kit that he bought from me. If that doesn't work, I'll scan mine for 'ya, (everything is the same except that I have the '97 switch--besides that, it's the exact same install).
