My suggestion is that you check with this dude first: Warner. He works at an Acura dealership in Canada, and I've bought a number of things from him (He's Legit).

He currently does NOT have a set of OEM fog lights on eBay, but if you send him an e-mail, he will beat the price on acuracarland. I got my complete set for $99.00! The last several sets that he's sold went for around $150.00. Give him a try moose@dccnet.com his name is Warner (tell him Rick Hoover/dustbuster4 sent you).

BTW: What you need to purchase from acuracarland (if you go with them) is FOG LIGHT KIT for $211.34. This has everything you need.

No,

Installation only took about 90 minutes. The hardest/timeliest part was trimming away the front bumper grill, where the lights will mount on the bumper. Otherwise, it's just a matter of following the easy install directions.

Wiring is easy because most of the wire are already pre-installed.

Do a "search" on this board and you will find a ton of instructions. Plus the factory fogs usully come with instructions.

It is about an hour job or 2-3 beers.

Good luck!

The wirring from the dash through the firewall is already in place... Its a matter of plugging the harness that comes with the lights into that at the firewall and adding the switch, then i'm sure theres a relay or 2 to mount and some other connection for power... as he said the hardest part is trimming the plastic (took me forever cause I wanted it perfect). I didnt buy the kit, I found a pair of just the lights at a junk yard and made my own wirring/relay harness. If you contact Warner, make sure you tell him what year car you have so he can get the correct switch. (I think he can do that, if I remember correctly) I'm sure dusty will add to this, cause he knows all the details.

That sucks. I know he's sold more than a dozen kits over the past year!

Your best may be to purchased the FOG LIGHT KIT. This price is about $120 less than the dealer!

You'll need the '98/'99 kit as the '97 switch will NOT fit your '98. Otherwise, everything in the kits are identical.

Thumbs up Need to upgrade dash, lights for cheap

I want to add a Cd changer to my 98 CL. Do you know where the input jack is in the trunk? Are the Sylvannia super whites any good? Where can I get white dials for my dash?

Thanx!!

Carlos
