F23 block/H22 head VTEC

I found this while searching around on the net... sounds like a pretty good idea... might need to check into it alittle more, sounds cheaper then doing a full H22 swap.

DYNO RESULTS

There was also stuff about it on Honda-Tech

how do you figure waste of money if all the parts for it can come out of a junk yard. It has more hp then just a stock F23 ... it also has more power potential then an F23 as well.

Isn't the G-series the 5 cylinder engine from the Acura Vigor and 2.5 TL?

G series is just a creative name for the combination of FgH series engines.

Either way, from the looks of things, it is a rather straightforward setup. People like pirate mcfred and prelittlelude have really laid some simple groundwork. They are all getting great torque numbers as well, vital for auto-x and roadcourse. If everything goes through as planned, you will see a f22b1/h22 combo by end of summer.
