f22/f23 ECU question
This is a rumor I heard.
that since this engine is in the accord too it is an ultra low emissions vehicle/engine... so when adding i/h/e onto the engine the ECU will keep the emissions low and counteract the upgraded airflow and exhaustflow.
as a result having those mods will not give an increase in power but may not net any gains or even reduce enginer power.
has anyone dynoed stock f22/23 and then with i/h/e?

so... point me to the dynos.
i personalyhave all three. plus alot more but just the 3 basics on the car i notice a good amount of torqe and hp specialy in the transitions to higher gears like 1st to 2nd pulled and breaks looks, the into third ( normaly tame ) slams you into the seat and 4 th is a mild but distinc pull all the way up to 5 which is a smooth acceleration to 130 or top speed. Thats just with 3 basic bolt ons, with internals done it pulls hard in every gear and a tad in 5th to redline

dude, i have all that and some more and it seems like i should be haviong more power that what i do. after my next paycheck, i will fiond a dyno around knoxville,tn some where and get it tested. further more, i am putting a 95 honda accord ecu on my car with the mugen cip in it so maybe it will do alot more. i will dyno before i put it on. peace
granted his NA dyno's still arent with only ihe, but there are dyno pulls where the cam gears and fuel pump wernt being used.... the pullies are also a common mod, and this clearly shows that there is some gain with IHEP and i dont think that you would argue that this is all from teh pullies, so the ihe have made a difference.

yeah but the pullies make a lot of difference... good work on the dyno sheets I forgot about those... froggy I'll await your results, I wonder how much the lightened flywheel and clutch do, perhaps your ignition may help out just a tad.
