A/f Gauges

Hello, recently I have been seeing a lot of people asking about A/F gauges. I understand the point of an A/F gauge, but what is the use of getting an A/F gauge if you can not adjust it anyway? Also, the same goes for oil pressure and oil temp. The reason I am asking is because I have been looking into getting some gauges, thanks for all the help.

You can adjust it with an AFC or SFC.

It's made by Apex'i and it basically does the same thing as a SFC but it allows you to modify your VTEC engagement point too. I think they sell for about $400.

ok, let me get this straight, if I buy a/f gauges and oil temp gauges, and I don't have a way to modify A/F. It won't be idiotic to have the gauges? Sorry, for the questions, where I come from everyone who has gauges can modify them, just making sure I wouldn't be a complte idiot for getting them, how much do they cost anyway?

A/F gauges are cheap, they run about $50. Easy to install, too, you just need to tap a few wires. If you get it & the A/F ratio is fine, then you're good to go... and if it's not, then seeing the incorrect reading everyday should motivate you enough to buy a controller to adjust the mixture.

What is an SFC? I've only heard of a VAFC.

What is the cheapest method?

Would a Fuel Pressure Regulator Solve any of the leaning out problems?

you don't really have a use for them. It'd be kind of pointless to waste your money on them seeing that your car is so close to stock. And also, i highly recommend an EGT gauge over the A/F gauge.
