I compete in USAC and the other night after working 27 hours straight on my stereo it was time to bolt the kick panels down. On the passenger side I knoticed one of the computers were your feet go so I THOUGHT I took that into consideration when bolting my kicks into the metal frame that protects the computer. Well, from the title of the post you can probably figure out what happend.

What I want to know is how much it this going to cost to replace? While Im replacing it, I might as well upgrade if possible, can I? Also, does anyone know were a junked cl might be so that I could take a used one out and use that?

You can go to www.acuraautomotiveparts.net and see how much each part that you need costs to get a rough estimate...I honestly didn't read your whole post so I don't know what happened...but if it isn't that bad then maybe you can order the parts off the site and fix it yourself..

i was under the impression that the computer was under the front drivers seat.

if you wanna upgrade you can get the AEM programable computer, but it comes in at a hefty $1,000.

i think the factory computer should be about $300.

 

i still have my stock ecu from when i did my h22 swap...i will sell it to you if you are interested

 

d98, thats exactly what Im looking for! I've been looking through junk yards to try and find a used one. The computer that I busted is NOT the one in the kick panel, its the one that is under the passengers feet, just to make sure we have everything straight. Im gona go get a security bit (thats how my speakers are bolted in) tonight so I can get the my kick panels out and I'll let you all know. Thanks for the replies!

the deal with d98 didnt work out, he's got a 2.2 so his computer wont work in my cl. Anyone esle know of any 97 3.0 that are junked anywhere, or have done a tranny swap that want some cash for there computer?

 

the 98 up V6 accord...has the same ecu..try to see if you can get one of those
