I come out from the mall last night, and my entire fuckin car is keyed. i mean everything! the headlights, the hood, the bumpers, the fenders, the spoiler, trunk, all down the body, every fuckin where! Paint is missing, big time key marks, gouged plastic, they got me good. I wish i woulda caught em doing it. so i call the insurance company, have to get a police report, and i took it to my bodyshop for an estimate......$4500! they have to repaint the entire car, cuz its all messed up, plus maybe replace the bumpers due to the gouged plastic and the headlights need to be replaced. man fuck this is gonna raise my insurance...:madfaw: fuck! sorry, had to rant!

yo man that sucks big time, however dont get too upset yet... your car was vandalised, you were no in an accident, your insurance should cover that under your comprehensive damages section of your policy so you will most likely cut you a check for 4500 - (your deductible) and your rates shouldnt change because your car wasnt moving and it wasnt an accident/collison

-500 kit
-1000 customing

that still leaves you 600. . . . may be vxcl can hood you up with some hid's?

Well guys i have to see exactly how much the insurance company is gonna give me. The estimate from the bodyshop was 4500, but the adjuster might not give me that. So i have to wait and see. But i'm not gonna do a custom kit. I might add something small on to the rear bumper, but thats about it. And i dont even know if im' gonna do that. I just hope they give me enough to get it fixed right.

a BODFYKIT for $500?! Yea the rear bumper.... what about the front and sides... Easy $1200 for the pieces of a good kit...

custom molding it is alot of work.. $1000.00... ummm NO... I pad Ross $4k for kit and custom work for my initial kit... It took 3 weeks to mold up perfectly... theres alot of cutting, molding, fitting and sanding involved....

for custom paint and bodykit you are looking minimum of $12k easy!!! For a real great job, $16k....


To custom paint my car in NY here, with a pearl white base, a candy metallic blue and charcoal accent, with air brushing was gonna cost me $15k... thats why i brought my car to stock....
