It's a pain in the a** when people want to get real info and have to sort through three pages of flames for some info. It's not funny and it's not cute.

Yes, you can call someone a ricer, but don't keep pushing the envelope.

If you have a problem with someone, send a PM to them, send a PM to me, or take it to RAMBLINGS.

Have problems with someones mods that are done to a car? Start a thread and ask in a non-flaming matter, it usually gets a better response.

I usually don't speak up about things, but this has been biting at my ankles since it started.

thanx for calling it out i dont want this to be like some other boards! some guys at my job post on some other boards for their cars and they have a whole forum for "trash talking" which i think is immature. we should have more class than that!

 

IMO...This is the internet. don't be gettin all crazy on the internet now. If people really need that information they would take there time to read through it and catch a few laughs while reading. I thinks it helps bring us CLer's closer together by letting each other know how they feel. BTW im high rite now so don't take what im saying seriously.

I think its fine to have a little shit talking, but 8 pages worth is definatly taking it to the extreme. Were here to learn about our vehicles, show them off, and have a good time talking with one another. Lets not let some worthless nonsense get in the way of that. Keep cool fellas

Good idea with the topic too. There's no problem with not agreeing with people online, but there has to be a limit. You're not going to get anywhere by typing an argument. I've been on this site since day one... and I started in First Gen (since that was what I had). I have to say that right now we have the best collection of people in this forum, hands down. The knowledge base on here has never been as great as it is now. There's no need for the flames.... just keep the info flowing. You guys called Qwick's BS... let it go and keep hitting the board up with your great info!!

 

I was one of the major BS callers in that thread. I also sent him a PM and he actually responded after he stopped responding to the thread. I explained to him that people go here to ask questions where the answers will likely impact thousand dollar decisions about their car. We have to protect this site from people full of shit that will try to BS an answer so they don't blow their cover. I have seen other BS called before like this, and the BSer goes away forever. Good Ridens. IMO, That thread served a good purpose, that lyers will not be tolorated under any circumstances on this board by it's members. However, 1gen, your point is well taken.
