So which is better, H22a or F22 or H23.
I am going to put my acura away for winter and want to do an engine swap. Also anyone know anyone around Delaware to actually do the swap?

 

do a search and you will find alot of your questions will be answered. I dont know what an H23 is, but I would choose the H22a anyhow.

the f22 is the motor that comes in your car
the h23 is the non-vtec DOHC prelude motor...160hp
the h22 is the vtec DOHC prelude motor...........190hp

the best motor would depend on what you are going to do...if you are gonna go all motor or nos i would say H22
but if you are gonna do turbo then both h22 & h23 are great

i have an h22 that is turboed ..it is just a little harder to tune than the h23

is it worth my money to take out my 3.0 and put in a modded out h22?

 

it will cost way too much to try to convert your v6 to an h22...you are better off selling the 3.0 and getting a 2.2 or 2.3

NOT WORTH IT!!

 

forget getting a 2.3 they have no power compared to the 3.0 so i think im better just getting a shot of nos and bolt on's.
