ok........today i was drivin wit my homies then all of the sudden my engine just turn off????.......then i have to stop on the side while the car is still movin......then i have to shift back to Park and turn on my key again to turn the engine on.....wat do u guys think that could make the car just turn off???

 

Was the outside temp very hot/cold, and did you just fill up the tank?

If so you might have not had the fuel cap on tight an had "air leakage" that caused you fuel system to depressurize and in effect cut off fuel flow to your injectors.

There is a reason our fuel caps hiss at us more in the Summer than winter...gas vapor expansion.

 

I had the same problem with my 5 speed but i could pop the clutch and keep going. It seemed to happen when i was taking my stereo out. One of the power wires must of hit metal and cause something called a fusable link to disconnect. My car would not start without a push but it would cut off while driving. I wouldn't worry if it just did it once. If it happens again take it in to be checked.

OR MAYBE YOUR HOMMIES WERE WEIGHING THE CAR DOWN?=)

 

I had that problem once. My Alternator was messed up.
If it gives way again it might be a sign that the alternator is beginning to mess up. Def. look into it.

 

Could be your alternator but more likely is a fusable link. I had the same problem with a grand am I used to own. After taking apart the dash I found my problem. Definately get that checked out, thats dangerous!!! Electrical problems are the worst to find and fix!!!!!
