out of no where. . my engine started making these screachy noises -_-
so i popped the hood and the noise was coming around where the pulleys and alternator and stuff are(the left side of the engine)
any1 know why it's making these annoying noises? timing belt??

I lost an a/c tentioner pulley after three days of it making that sort of sound. 80 mph on I-70 at 3am with my wife at the wheel of my now deceased 90 Teg. You should replace the offending pulley before it locks up and flies out from under the car. I got lucky, that 4 pound piece of brass didn't hit anything on its flight out. The only other thing I can think of that would make that sound would be the distributer rotor bearing. But check the pulleys first. Much less expensive.
