Electric turbocharger???
I've been searching around on ebay looking at turbos and what not for my car and I keep seeing these electric turbochargers. Does anyone have one or know if they do anything? This is one on an eBay auction for $40. There is also a site
e-Racing that sells them for $299 but have dyno proven results... Anyone know anything about this. All I know is that my car is slow, I have very little money, and I think I'd just destroy my car with NOS.

electrically assisted as i understand them to be. I think it prevents turbo lag and the bottom, but then the electric motors dont help muchat the top because the actual exaust part just overpowers it.

Real Electric SuperChargers are being built by TurboDyne and possibly R&D at Garret and Honeywell... (4-6 PSI boost, same as CT SC)
Those above are just crap...

piece of shit.
dont waste your money. it doesnt even produce 1.4 psi (where you actually begin to see some gains)
all that will do is mess up your fuel map and flood your engine when you drive normally.

So is there any real ones that actually do work? Does anyone have a link to, or name of one of these? I may just try to make one out of a leaf blower or something, hehe...

I figured out what these electric turbos really are... It's kinda funny. They are in-line blowers to expell exhaust fumes on a boat. BoatUS... So, i'm thinking about buying one and trying it out. It's only $20...

So I bought the in-line blower from West Marine for $29.99. It blows fairly decent... I just need to find a place to run the wire for the switch inside my car. Anyone know of a spot where I can run a wire from my engine compartment into my car? I've looked many times and have never found a hole. Anyone know where one is located?

What about the cable for the stock fog lights? Do you have them installed? If not that cable goes from the center console to the drivers side under the hood, through the firewall (On the 3.0, not 100% sure on the 2.2).
If you don't plan on using the cable, maybe you can a) remove it b) use the same opening.
