Eibach or Neuspeed?

What is everyone's preference for lowering springs? Did anyone have bad luck with either make? Anyone have experience with both types?

i'm partial, I think eibach is the best spring company out there and they do way more R&D then anyone else. There is a reason they make springs for nascar, F1, CART and basically anything that needs springs. They even make valve springs for motors and springs for playground setups. Eibach all the f'ing way!

I rode on neuspeeds for about a month and didn't like them. They weren't stiff enough and the front end floated alot more then it does now.

Answer a few questions for me and i'll give you some more feedback. Is your car a 3.0 or 2.2? Also, how low would you like to go?

I have eibach but I wish I would have went with Nuespeed. just for the for a little more of a drop.... I like a little stiffer of a ride.. that's just my personal preference.. I like to hop down the highway... but it's all a matter of opinion...

Ghander, I have a '98 2.3, wanting to go about 1.75". At what point would I need to worry about camber?

I dont know I rode in a 2.3 CL with Eibach and it hits the bumps hard.

I dive a 3.0 with Maxspeed coilover, drop ~2.75inch and no camber problem. (i bent the lower arm control) My Neuspeed Sport spring is coming monday, reason i got neuspeed is bcuz its lower and i been hearing a lot of good things about it on the 3.0.

was the guy riding on stock shocks?

I'd suggest the eibach sportlines DBM, they may put you closer to 2.0. And you will probally need a camber kit for anything less then 1.5". But it really depends on the individual car.

The eibach's have a more comfortable ride IMO. But it also depends on size of your tires too.
