It might be a stupid question but I wonder....

For example: I parked my car, took the key from the ignition and left the car “without locking the doors from the remote”

Is there a security timer or something to lock the door automatically after a while?
Or doors just stay unlock until next morning?

Note: I know there is a timer if I unlock the doors from the remote. I think it is about 30second then doors lock again, if I don’t open the doors.

No there is no automatic timer, only if the doors were never opened.

Which sucks cause my other car did and now I always forget to lock the CL.

 

i thought there was...

sometimes i get out tha car....then go back 10 secs later...locked

ive heard it do this.....but it doesnt always work....jus when it wants...

dont think it works if you use the remote to unlock....but

 

If your speaking of the stock Keyless entry remote that comes with the car, it does not have that feature, if your car is locking, you have a relay problem or something because the stock keyless entry system does not have that feature.

well my car has that option. it locks if you unlock it with your remote and you didnt open them after a while but only if you locked the car earlier and later came back and unlocked with the remote

 

He is talking about all the time, not just after it was accidently unlocked and the door never opened.
