Dust & 1gen

sup fellas.. when u guys put your springs in did u keep the stock shocks??? ... they had to come off no matter what right .. so if i put after market ones on its basically still the same process ???.. and do u guys know how to put a camber kit on ? or anyone who does?? thanks

haha....... we did them the same day i think.

i kept the stock struts, so did he.

i dont know where the camber correction kit goes on the car.

yes the whole strut assembly has to come out, because you need to compress the stock springs.

Yeah, apparently, we did ours the same day

If you're planning to change out the OEM struts/shocks for aftermarket ones, do it when you drop your CL, it will take NO additional time!

I kept my stock struts/shocks for 2 reasons: 1) $$$$; 2) With the limited drop of the Pro Kit, I could get away without installing aftermarket shocks/struts. The only alteration to the shocks/struts was that I trimmed the "stop".

I'm not sure about the camber kit. I didn't need one with the Pro Kit.

thanks for the info i think im gunna do it my self and save the labor costs ... how u compress the springs.. did u just rent the spring compressor?

yeah.. i rented one from the local parts store for $67. it was refunded when the compresser was returned.

youre taking a big chance of breaking something if you dont compress the stock springs.
