The drop is in!! Got pics!!

Some of you know that i have been planning on dropping, and it went in today. I used the Eibach prokit with KYB AGX shocks. The setup is great, rides stiffer and handles much better. Thanks to everyone on the forum the helped me out, especially 1stgencl, i would have never done it without your help. You saved me $150.00, your check's in the mail. j/k But to the info:

1. I read of people taking 12 hours to put the setup in, i took me a 2 friends who have never done it before 5 hours, but we made a big screw up, so probably it would have taken us just over 4 hours. Granted we are all mechanically inclined.
2. The screw up we made was not putting the plastice bump stop under the dustshield in the new kyb's, so we had to take the whole setup out and compress the spring again, then fix and install it again.
3. My bolts and nuts came out like nothing. I used penetrating oil 5 times on them and let it sit for over 48 hours. Worked nice!
4. Lastly, i am basically happy with the install but i have one complaint. It looks like the back is lower than the front, but not by much. The measurements in the pics illustrate this.
Any other questions, post them here or pm me. Let me know what u think.

i have the same problem. I don't think my gap difference is as noticible as yours though. (might wanna take the dead ho out the trunk!)

Thanks a lot for posting it up Arram, i owe u one!
And yeah, i think i gotta let the springs settle for a few weeks to get the true drop in the front. They are real stiff and the engine weight in the front will compress them more. Oh yeah, i took the ho out right after u told me to.

Congrats on the drop and for doing it yourself

Looks like mine...the front gap is probably 1/2"-3/4" higher than the rear.

It's good to hear that everything went smooth.
Regarding the gap difference I think Eibachs have the same problem w/ many of their applications b/c my legend was the same way. It gets worse when u're driving around. I was following my brother who was driving my car and everytime the car accelerated the weight shifts to the rear making it look worse.
But other then that I like the setup.

Enjoy

Congrats!

Keep in mind that the gap in the front is due to the larger wheel well height (need room for the tires to turn). The rear wheel well height is lower because the wheels don't turn.

Looks good!!!

The wheel well is bigger in the front so it will look like less of a drop.

the gap is larger in the front because the wheel well is larger, not because of the springs.
