I'm getting my AGX-KYB shocks in this week and I already have my prokit springs. So how difficult and how long does the installation take? If any of my fellow Cler's are running with the same setup please respond back and let me if there are any special consideration that need to know about. I don't have rims yet but that's the next thing which raises another question. 18 or 19's? Hit me back with your opinions.
Count on one or both of the lower rear shock mounting bolts to break. If this happens, you're looking at mega hours.
If everything goes smoothly, with help, you can do the job in 4-5 hours easily.
If you can, get a shop to press out the old bushings and get new ones pressed in. This way you don't need to worry about the bolt(s) breaking. Also, see if they'll compress the springs for 'ya. This saves time and may save your life. :P
Here's what a failed spring compressor can do.
