DRL Sensor

So has anyone noticed that, at least on the 97's, the DRL sensor is wired up and under the black cap in the center of the dashboard?. My cap happened to fall off today after I rerouted my GPS antenna there and the photosensor was staring me right in the face. Looks like the cap on ours is just solid instead of translucent plastic. If I have time tomorrow at work I am going to see if there is voltage fluctuation on either wire. Could do a true auto-headlight mod if this is true.

That would be awesome if it's not too expensive.

Well if the sensor throws a ground or anything, it can be done. I do happen to have a super-sensitive relay that was given to me. It can be tripped by as little as 0.001Amps
