Driving With a Dead Shock...

will this mess up my spring in any way? my right rear shock is really really dead and when i hit a bump, it makes a loud ass noise. I just want to make sure I dont mess up my spring back there. I am getting new struts soon, so I hope this doesnt turn into a problem. thanks

Naw it won't just replace them as soon as possible, mean time try to stay away from big pot holes and stuff. I had 2 bad struts on the back that I rode on for a month and some change on lower Eibach springs and had no problems once I put my new ones on. You'll be fine.
