Alright I did a search on this and came up with nothing, I know one other person on the forums is having a similar problem though

When I unlock or lock the door with the switch the motor just spins freely giving a wrrrrrrr noise. So I took it all apart and the motor assembly has a centrifugal clutch sort of a set up (like a gas rc car tranny clutch), but my little clutch wheel thing doesnt grab. I Rigged it by drilling holes in the plastic and putting plugs in to make the two peices as one, works fine. But as with all good rigged things it will probably break again and will eventually need a new peice.


So does anybody know a source for just the motor and gear part? I know I can get the whole door lock asemply from acura for over 100 dollars, but quite frankly thats a rip off when I can just replace the one peice.

try one out of a junk yard from an accord. those are more common there than cl's are.
