Door Alignment (with pics)

Door Alignment (with pics)

Has anyone seen anything like this happen before?

Here are pictures of both of my doors, the Driverside door doesn't close all the way and the passenger door does.

There's nothing preventing the door from closing, and its happened in the past 2 weeks.

you have to adjust the "strike?" plate. The same thing happened to me and I was told to adjust it in a little. (the plate on the inside of the B pillar.) and I shut fine after that..

Hrmmm i looked at everything on the door and it doesn't seem to have moved at all.
but i'll give it a try tommarow and see if that works

move the strike plate, that should help the door go in farther

^ i agree.... i moved my striker in and the doors realigned nicely. The only thing is that sometimes you really have to shut the door hard to close it right...

related to this does anyones door make a clicking noise as it opens?

just recently, when i open my door, at the points where it usually has its "rests" its been

clicking, the hing seems like its mobile. anyone experience this ?

my driver side was just like this.

But after my timing belt change...the door must have been left open for a long while because it sagged and would hit hard against the metal bar the striker grabs.

I bitched, they lowered that bar (bent it down) and now...closes perfectly flush..
