This is for you knowledgable H22a owners or just knowledgable people in general. I am wondering if the JDM H22a has a rev limiter on it to make it so you can not go past a certain speed, and if so at what speed does the rev limiter/fuel cut off kick in? Does anyone on here have this Short Shifter?

 

i;m not knowledgeable but i believe all honda engines are rev limited. and taht short shifter is off the hook go on ebay they put auctions up for the same one for a bit cheaper than on their website

You mean a governer? Rev limiter isn't just a top speed limit, its an RPM limit. Governer is what does fuel shut off or whatever other means the car uses to limit to a max speed.

 

In simple terms whats the top speed of a JDM h22a (Stock)

 

Probably about 150mph.

its not the engine it the ecu, which ecu will you be using, jdm or usdm? on my h22 swap I have a chipped p13 and I can get to 140 in 4th gear.

 

Damn that's what I am talking about LEON, are you running new valve springs and titanium retainers since your running at higher RPMs?
