so they happedn to my passenger window and now its happening to the drivers window..... the passenger window does REAly bad... loud bad noise... i tried takin it apart and wd40-ing it... made the window go down bit quiker but it didnt stop the sound.. has anybody experienced this and know a quik way to fixx it?

yeah mine does it too, lightly at times, when going up, its fine going down though. . . im noticing that the dealer tint from years ago peeling down with it, I can see some wrinkles in it

 

um i think ive seen a fix for this somewhere on the boards. just search for it. i get this too but it really doesnt bother me that much. haha

 

befor it didnt bother me but now its allott worse.. im pretty sure ur windows well get more messed to lol

 

well i think if i read properly, u have to lube the inside of the tracks....like the insides of the rubber...you know?

are you sure that the thread you were reading wasnt for make the window roll down quiker? cause i read that one and i cant seem to find any post about fixing the window noise problem after searching.

But yea dude mine makes this loud ass roar on the passenger side. Try meeting you current girlfriend and she goes to roll down her window. And your like nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and then you hear this violent african elephant roar. talk about embarassing

Try searching, the answers are out there. Try silicone spray in the window tracks, also make sure the chrome trim pieces aren't scratching or rubbing against the window

 

theres this stuff that i use for my turntables and my mixer and its called TUNER CONTROL or something like that. its in a white aeresol (sp?) can and it comes with those little straw things that connect to the tip. i use that on my window track but only a little bit and it worked. this was like 2 years ago and it just now started squeaking again. so might wanna try that.

if your a dj it works wonders for you mixer's fader controls too.

 

yea my passenger side window makes a horrible screaching sound only when i roll it down. theres three tracks for the window. the two outer channels and a third middle track with the regulator i think its the middle track that causes the screeching and needs to be lubed http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/6768/regulatoren6.jpg

 

It'll also clean up any analogue volume control sliders on old school amps!
