Do any of the CF hood owners have oxidation on their hoods?
What's the best way to remove it? Trying to sell mine, but would like to remove some oxidation before I do so. Also, what's the going price? I'm putting up an ad on craigslist soon. Thanks for any help and insight

My CF hood has lot's of faded spots and that is sucks. I store it in the basement for about a yr. I tried taking it to a bodyshop and all they said was that it wasn't removable. They just didn't want to spend the time. I also want to get rid of my hood just for that purpose unless I get a do it yourself instructions.

my hood is mint. mainly because it sits in my garage from november-april.
apparently VIS hoods arent that good though. but we had to take what we could get. i would have preferred seibon though.

ok thanks for all the help fellas. i'm going to try the PC on it tomorrow or later this week and see if i can't get it better. most of the oxidation is pretty minor and near the top of the hood. rest of it is pretty sweet
