Headlight Issues - Help!
Headlight Issues - Help!
So...
My car had a set of Aftermarket HID's when I bought it. The passenger side HID kept intermittently turning sometimes working, sometimes not working. I pulled the HID's and put in some regular bulbs last night. The day before yesterday I noticed my high beam was out, on the same side, so I pulled the bulb and it was obviously burnt out. I replaced and all was well.
Driving home my high beam went out again, so I tested the bulb on the driver's side and it's still good, but there's not juice on the passenger side.
This morning it still wasn't working, I got to work and poof, high beam's working again as usual. So far my regular low beam bulb hass been working fine, but I suspect it may stop working before I get home tonight again.
I have no idea where to start? Could my problem be related to the Daytime Running Light module, a relay/relays, wiring? I was thinking maybe I'm getting a short on the harness going to the headlights on the passenger side, but I'm obviously not blowing fuses as it's an intermittent problem..
Is there a way to disconnect the DRL module? Maybe it's the culperit???
