^^24hr indoor self carwashes FTW, stayed there for an hour doing that stuff, and it was only me and the guy who worked there, and a taxi driver washed his car quickly too. But still like 5 stalls empty, so it was a good time to be there. plus when i went to take the 10 minute drive home there was barely any cars on the street to kick up shit at my clean car. Well there wasn't anyone besides a probably drunk kid who smoked a curb in his sentra infront of me. then later he passed me as i was already speeding, and as he was going past i could see his rim and tire were fucked, and wobbling like crazy, i was just and as i watched him
^i use tire shine on mine right now, well it's more of a plastic/rubber protectant and sealant. I actually spray it all in my wheel wells too so that the dirt and stuff will just wash off with water rather than being caked on. Atleast i think it works pretty well as i can't really see that clearly inside the wheelwells. Plus it smells almost like blueberries, my whole garage smells like that now

oh i hit up the coin-ops all the time, just always forget a shammy. Usually i wax her and let the water bead off as i drive but now it just freezes, then my door locks are frozen the next morning..more of a pain in the ass then anything..
and yeah i use tire shine too but it doesn't last at all so i dont bother..

do you use the wax from the sprayer?
and i always remember my shit now, too many times i've forgotten to bring my stuff, although sometimes i forget stuff there. Like the towl i used to clean the inside of my fenders i forgot it there last night. i only wash mine cuz i have the use of the garage whenever i want, if i'm just gonna be in there for a night or so. And i find that if i leave the cl out during the day, if the sun is beating down on the driver's side door it'll usually thaw it out. Or i can just remote start my car and hope that it warms up enough to thaw the locks
and i don't really like using shammys for some reason they never leave the suraface really nice. i use two huge MF towels from walmart usually to dry off the car, but i hope that they're not hurting the finish at all, can't really tell

yeah the spray wax. we actually have one around here that has a dryer too, takes some time but its mint.
I really should invest in a remote start for the car cuz getting in the car right in the morning is just horrible, i freak everytime..& my shammy is mint, no complaints at all with it. The MFs wont hurt the finish, your good..

yeah remote starters are great, i needed an alarm on my car so i decided to get on with a remote start too for the winter, and i got a pretty good deal on mine so i'm happy with it. I always start my car and let it run for a while in the mornings or after school, cuz i'd rather pay a little more in gas to keep the cl running better. I usually let it warm up for 10 mins before i go anywhere if it's been sitting outside.
I don't really like using the crappy wax that comes out of the sprayers at the car washes, but i guess that would probably be better than no wax, like mine basically is right now. And my MFs did hurt my finish when i first got the paint, cuz i washed it like a two weeks after it was finished and i dried it with my MFs in the sun so i got a little into the clear i think, swirls and light marring basically. But i think they're good now for drying and for 10 bux a peice or so, so i can't really complain

^lol, i woulda just said...i dunno, it was on there when i bought the car... and leave it at that. I got th same sized decal of a foot with it's middle toe up almost the same place on my car. Looks almost like a hand from far off, whenever my family asks i either laugh it off or change the subject. But i will not take it off cuz i like it

I usualy HATE stickers on car's unless it's racing parts stickers (parts that's actualy in the car) or forum stickers but that shocker sticker was pretty cool imo. Added character to the car.
Anyway, I wish I would have taken pics of how dirty the car was when the were working on construction right by the house. All the calcium rock dust in the air mixed up with the morning dew left intense calcium water spots all over the car that I had to get off with an intense polish. Kinda like what fliplyricist did to his car. I think someone on here saw how dirty the car was when I was on 1604 towars Sea World. lol

ha, and as much character as the shocker added--I'm sure the girl I'm about to date wouldn't like driving around in a shockermobile....or maybe she would

^double does anyone know why our locks freeze so easily? cu no matter how many times i flick the lock switch or slam the door, if i leave it outside(not even when it's really cold) my drivers door lock will freeze up, and never the passenger door either anyone having the same type of issue?
oh ya and i should have some dirty pics of the cl in a few days as it got warmer here, and is messy as hell on the roads
