I put my creativity to work the other day, I took a dimmer switch for the dash lights out of an accord at a junk yard the other day, and made it work for the dimmer on my friends EL gauges in his accord. We lengthened the wires on the cruise switch and put that in the fog light switch location, then after a short visit to Radio Shack we pulled the extra dimmer apart and made it function like the one they give you with the gauges, and the knob still pushes in and out. Now everything still looks stock, instead of having that cheap looking knob sticking out of the dash somewhere. We put that new dimmer in the cruise switch location, works great.

 

That sounds cool. I haven't put mine in yet for fear that I have to see that ugly looking switch that comes with the guages!
