im in a situation right now.

i just bought some no brand tires for my stock wheels on my 97 cl..which still costed $400...and now i want to lower it my car.

should i just get springs and lower it? AND keep stock wheels? i really dont wanna let my tires go to waste...and maybe use them up and then get new tires with rims? or should i just change it and try to sell my tires? but i doubt anyone is gonna buy those tires. BST tires...-__-

no it wont look gay many/most of us have dropped the car and kept stock wheels until the time comes to afford/decide to upgrade rims. what color car? im digging shiney's painted stocks those are nice. a few other memebers have refinished/painted stock rims cocoa and dragon to name a few. So just keeping stockies is not the only option.

 

imo drop it before rims cuz with the right drop(slammed!!) it doesnt look gay at all. rims with no drop=4x4 until your dropped and that looks kinda . i'm dropped on a prokit with stockies until thurs when my rims come.but i been prokitted on stockies for a couple months due to no extra $$ for rims

as for the tires if your ready for rims someone here or on ebay will jump on them if you wanna sell(people will buy a dirty sock on ebay) but you prob will take a $$ loss. save them for winter.

 

ok the pictures ive seen...some dropped it both front and back evenly..but some seems to have the front slightly lower than the back. what looks better? pros and cons of both?

Silver. What tires are you using on the tracks. Are you using stock rims or larger for better traction. How much bogger of diff would it make to go a lil wired on the tires.

 

it was 400 for the tires, installation and alignment.

 

moomoo....if your in SoCal, I can hook you up with tires. I get Falken Azenis's in 205/55/R16 for $76 each. And that's for the old Azenis (215's I believe), the new 615's suck ass.

btw, dropped on stockies look just fine.

I buy brand new used tires for $25 a piece. Some i get Michelin some time i get BFGood.

BTW, dont buy no cheap no name and drive fast. Read the rating on the tires before u buy em.
