different alarm siren

Hey guys I have a quick question, and to the moderators if you move this i'm sorry i posted it in the wrong forum!

For some damn reason I want an alarm siren that sounds like the ones you hear in the movies/tv..you know that *chirp chirp* sound. Anyone know if this kind of alarm siren exists?

thanks!

again sorry if this is in the wrong forum!

The cool thing about our cars, is that they do have a real alarm - it's made by Alpine. You can set it to chirp when locking/unlocking the doors.

sorry i just realized that i didn't explain myself enough, it made sense this morning as i was getting ready for class. In most movies/tv shows when someone locks and expensive car it has the chrip sound that is pretty much used for all cars, i know its sound effect edited in, but i was wondering if there was a siren that could duplicate that sound.

i hope that explains myself better, if not, i'll just have to try again.

I don't really understand what you mean, our cars can make that sound (unless the 2.x is diff from the 3.0). It might not be as loud as an aftermarket siren, but it's there. I like it.

I think he looking to see if he can have it make a different sound than what we have. I have no idea what it sounds like now. Mine don't work and I still working on it on the other forum thread.

I know what he's talking about!

I would asume that you can change the sound of the pitch by changing sirens. However, I'm not sure which company makes the one you want.

I know what sound you are talking about now. It took me going over to my friend's and listening to his mom's Lexus lol. I was like ooo that sound lol. Yea, you'd have to change the siren. You might could just buy a Lexus siren if it operates the same way.

I understand the question, but I was referring to the sound he desires.

That is NOT the factory sound.
The sound posted is higher pitched and faster than our stock alarm.

It's not exactly the factory sound, but it sounds close. I think it sounds weeny-er. I like my factory chirps better. That IS NOT what a Lexus (at least LS430) sound like.

Ok so any audio alarm experts here? I curious if changing the siren would change the tone of the alarm.

Hold the trunk release and lock botton at the same time until you see the little red light "light up" on your remote.

It should now chirp when you use the lock and unlock buttons.
