difference h22 type S and h22a

difference h22 type S and h22a

what is the difference of these motors cause i have no clue

is it the same or. . . x________ fill in for me please

h22a type s has 220hp, and h22a has just 200hp. 20 hp differences.. and it's like 2k+ more expensive.. there's one guy who's swapped euro h22a into his cl.. it was red one.. and was for sale..

also the way the engine is ported it's said to be better. i heard the whole swap would cost 7k, comes with a 6spd tranny

5-0.812
F-4.266 (yes same ratios as a stock 5th gen except for 5th)
LSD for SiR spec-s and ATTS for type-s

CR for USDM is 10:1

H22A1 2.2L USDM DOHC VTEC 92-96 Prelude VTEC 190hp
H22A4 2.2L DOHC VTEC 97-01 Prelude VTEC/SH 97-98: 195hp 99-01: 200hp
H22A 2.2L JDM DOHC VTEC 92+ Prelude Type-S, 97+ Prelude SiRS Spec 220ps
