okay, so for the deck install do i need the wire harness, but do i need the deck install kit, i guess it makes it fit better into the existing console, i don't know uch about the deck install kit, but will it replace the extra din slot under the stock deck? will the deck install (alpine cda9813) without the deck kit and be snugly fit? anyone got pictures of their current decks/ thanks

 

this was just spoken about a few days ago...you dont necessarily need a deck install kit...the second din storage bay can be attached to the head unit various ways...i just electrical taped mine...sounds ghetto but works great.

 

that sounds cool, any other ways of mounting this thing?
