Hey guys!

I am going to debadge my trunk probably this weekend, leaving only the "A" on the rear. I know to use fishing line to get the emblems off, but how do I get the residual glue off the trunk? I want to make it nice an smooth...

 

YOU CAN USE GOO GONE OR SOMETHING ELSE FROM HOME DEPOT AND THEN I WOULD BUFF THE AREA REAL GOOD, ZAINO OR MCGUIRES MAKES SOMETHING YOU CAN USE, JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL AUTO SHOP AND LOOK AROUND.

 

My friend actually had a heat gun... Which kicked ass-
I just wiped off when hot- then washed and waxed...

boil some water and pour it on b 4 u use fishing line. use a wet towel rub it off using more boiling water.....then wax it ......I have a white CL and it work pretty damn good......can't even tell I had emlems on.

heat is key.

 

Damn straight it is! Just spent a couple of hours trying to get my emblems off, and i finally figured out that if you hold a hair dryer long enough on the gunk, it'll come off easily with your nail.
