search first, then when you can't find a thread related to your question, search again, and if again you can't find anything the second time, then you might wanna consider making your own thread but not before then please

I dont have a definite answer unfortunately, thats why I never attempted the debadge on the CL. Other hondas just have stickers usually. try doing it again and again. should come off.

well sorry if it came off sounding like that, it's just i'm pretty sure there are some mulit-page threads on this kind of topic, and we don't need a repeat of a whole discussion IMO
next step i would suggest is to use something with more of a cut, stronger polish or a compound. but for better/more detailed opinions search for the other threads
or debage/shave whole trunk and repaint, that's what i did , but i didn't attempt a debage before that process

It's called "pitting". There is no way to get rid of it since it got down to the paint. The only way to make it look better is to touch up paint it, wetsand it, claybar it, then buff it. It will make it look a hell alot better. I probably have the worst case of pitting on the forum but now you can't really tell unless you get right up close to it.

Use some of meguiars professional series abrasive polishes, forgot what number it was but on their 1-10 scale 10 being harsh, its a number 8, used it for my clear coat when bird dropping etched away at my clear and it got rid of it Then you just go with something along the lines of a 2-3 on their scale to get rid of the swirls then some of the non abrasive polsihes to finish it off.

Mom why is there two?
Take 2000 grit sandpaper= Autozone
Sanding block= Autozone
Use the sandpaper and water wet sanding is good. Sand the area make sure it is clean.................... Take a 3M Polish semi abbrasive hand polish 3 times wipe clean each time to check your progress. Then meguires #2 polish I believe or a 3M product of the same sort. Polish three times wiping clean to check your progress. Then mcguires scratch X. That is what it is called. Polish three times and yes wipe it clean to check your progress.. Repeat the steps if neccassary if needed. BE VERY CAREFUL not to sand through your clearcoat. When you are sanding the area if you wipe it off with a dry towel the name acura will still appear and be shiny only go until you can barely see the sign that should do it............................................ Then polish away.. GOOD LUCK
