The day has come.....SOLD
Well, today was the day, I finally sold the CL. All the years of owning her, all the work, everything gone in the span of 30 minutes. I'd had an ad up for my car for a while, and got a call today, and guy liked what he saw, and bought it. I sold it for $3300. Little less than what I wanted, but not bad for a 11 yr old car with over 166k miles on it. Also, the drivers side window didnt work, the seats were torn up, holes were all my tv's had been, tires were bald, and the paint had some dings and scratches since I had everything re-done in 04.
Main reason for selling was I have an English Bulldog, and the CL just wasnt a practical car for me anymore. I did pick up a new car already, I saw an ad in Craigslist, there was a guy getting divorced and needed some quick cash, and for $3000 I picked up an '01 Explorer Sport w/ 98k miles. So I made $300, got a car 4 years newer and 70,000 less miles.
I'll still check in from time to time, and see whats goin on, after 8 years of owning a CL it'll always be a piece of me.

Sorry to hear the CL is gone, but damn an Explorer?
I think you might miss that CL, even with the higher mileage I would personally trust its reliability over that of the Explorer any day
GL in the future, and maybe we'll see you back here with another CL in a few short months hahaha
