Dont mean to rub it in but w/ the price of gas these days and for what how much i bought the car for, this has to be one of my greatest investments. I know I know, buying a car isnt the greatest investment but for $2500, 97 acura cl, good condition, leather, wood grain, sun roof, stock security system, this car is a great value.

The car: 2.2 Acura CL AUTO, 190,000 miles
Im getting 32 mpg on highway and 26/27 mix highway and city mix.

Its crazy the car can go over 400+ miles easily on the highway.

My last tank:
397 miles on 12.3 gallons = 32.2mpg!...mixed with 50 miles city.

...with gas prices these days, I just pay a lot more attention to my gas mileage thats all.

 

Yeah, it is a great value. I was thinking about that earlier. I got my CL for $3000 but it is a 3.0. But I know people with civics, accords, and what not that got theirs for 3-6k. I love my car.

 

Wow you get 400 i think the most i got was 360 but then i drive 80+ usually i still get 26 though so its pretty good

 

shiz I get 400 hw in my 3.0, just wish i was driving it right now

 

Blah, I got my 3.0 for $5400.

Last tank I got 24 mpg, but that was about 100 miles of highway, 120 city.

haha i got my 2.2 for 6000. i can get 35 to the gallon though...

 

I've had my 2.3 since new in 1999 -- gas mileage is 30+ highway and hi-20's city/highway mix.

I love this car more and more every day!

 

thats great. with all the money you are saving you need it when the tranny breaks.

 

Yea same here when I go down to LA I fill up as soon as I hit the 5, it takes me all the way to downtown LA until my gas light has been on for 5 minutes.

I can REALLY see the difference between using Super and Regular too. Although lately all I can afford is Reg. the car gets sooo much better milage with Super its crazy.
