my "maintnence required" thing went on and i thiink its because of the intake!!!! shuld i take it off before i get it checked out by some1 or will they car?

 

how do you know its because of the intake

 

it has nothing to do with the intake...the maintence required light goes on automatically after a certain amount of miles since ur last tune up...if u want it off then just stick ur key in the keyhole next to the light. and besides mechanics shouldnt care if u have an intake..

That light is a counter for your maintenance such as oil changes, just reset it with a key

 

 

Yup, take your key and put it in that indentation next to the yellow colored square, and your as good as gold - or green (lame yah)

i would like to use this thread to say the bypass valve is . it's flooded in some areas here and it was a storm and a half today.you step outside for a split second and you got a bucket of water on you.i was shittin bricks driving through some of the puddles (didn't really gas at all) and no probs.i saw one puddle busted a u-e cuz a car was already stuck stock.

 

i went through some deep ass puddles with no bypass and she's still going so i say keep the .5 out of the 1.5hp you get from cai and say f*ck the bypass.....this is an expert opinion given by subbuzz
