dammit

my 97 3.0 had to go in for an alternator that was shot to hell...the bill...$617...god dammit, there goes my spoiler and intake that i was gonna put in this month

thats it, and they were gonna replace the battery, i know im getting reamed but i had to have it towed there so i really dont have a choice

dude thats rediculous. buy a chiltons manual(when ur ass heals) it will save u tons of money on little stuff like that. sorry to hear that dogg. if u were in tampa i would do it for nothing.

it was a 3 yr 36k war. so it was up in 2000. I just bought the car 4 months ago. it is my second one the first one was a 2.2 mt that was hit by a kid with no licence and insurence. I've just had bad luck with these cars but i love them so much

OMG dude I feel bad for you. thats a crazy price. I thought alternators were like $100-$120?? How much for the part and how muh for labor?

Bro, you got ripped hardcore...my alternator went out a few months back and I had to replace it as well.

I bought a 180 Amp alternator online for $200, and did the install myself. I had asked a couple of shops and they would've charged about 2 hours of labor @ $75 (NYC) which should've been around $350...

I bought my 180 amp alternator for $149 (more than 2 years ago), and installed it myself.
