82,000 miles and no problems on my '97.

I replaced the CV joints on my 1990 CRX at 130,000 miles.

I never replaced the CV joints on my 1984 CRX with over 155,000 miles.

My wife's 1993 Accord has 130,000 miles, and the CV joints are fine.

just listen for them around sharp corners (like in parking lots and stuff) you can usually tell fairly easily which one is making noise... but keep in mind they are not cheap...

I have 108,000 on my Cl and Ive never had problems and I drive really hard on the worst mountain roads imaginable. I mean I take curves fast enough to get the rear end to come around in some turns and thats hard to do in a front wheel drive

Bad CV joints are noisy and cause rough steering/ride.
