Cutting the Automatic Shifter

I'm putting a screen in with a setup almost identical to YBlegal's and I want to make the Auto-shifter Shorter. It's kindof in the way of the screen. Anyone Have any Idea's on how to do this and not Fu(K up the button that you press in???????

Your best bet would just be to get a thin knob

hes talking about the length of the shifter. I had this same problem with mine when I bought my Razo shifter. It looked like it was sitting up to high. I was told to use a pipe cutter which you can buy for about $20. I didnt want to cut it just in case I ever sell it, so I just took the shifter out. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

Well I gues When I'm bored tommorrow and sitting around with the 2 kegs we bought for Sunday Maybe I'll tear it apart, sit there and drink about it..I mean think about it. I'm sure my redneck nieghbor will figure it out, I'll wait until he gets loaded and have him do it.
