Cutom kit

I had inquired about a kit and told alot of you about how I was trying to make one well that is still in the works, but I got an e-mail from extreme dimensions and this is what it said:
Thank you, for inquiring about our Extreme Dimension product line. I am sorry,
we do not offer custom parts for any of our customers on an individual basis.
However, we will consider producing custom products if there is a large enough
demand. If you know anyone else interested in acquiring the same item we would
be willing to work with you to try and put together a group buy if enough people
show interest. If you have any further questions in regards to this email or any
of our other products please feel free to e-mail or call us at 1-888-611-AERO.
You can also visit us online at www.extremedimensions.com

So lets see if we can finally do this, I need everyones help. I am thinking lip kit who is with me

It's not that they are cheap, it's that you won't find 10 people or so to agree on a kit.

This has been tried MANY MANY times in the past.

I dont know....we just never have one that at lease 10 people agree. See i wanna see something sporty but not to sporty, something that make the headlight and grill stand out more....something smooth looking....something a pimp would roll in with.

C'mon guys throw some ideas out...what would ya like to see?

the ww lip one barely made it...

the last 4 CF hood ones failed.

I hope this CF hood/trunk/lip one works but seems like it is about to die in a week.

They are cheap because they usually don't fit, I have not seen one E.D. kit or part that has fit. If you want a good kit you have to pay for it, not go for the first company that offers something cheap.

i've heard the same about them. But there aren't many places that make quality kits.

:imwithstupid:

most are too blocky and flat and take away from our curves of the CL, the BW2 kit is flat in the front and ther rear is just too much, the spyder 2 is the same as the bw2 kit

i think they need to take a custom mold from the stock bumper and mold onto it to make the kit so that it does not take away from the curves and lines of the CL, front and rear, and make sure the sides line up as well with the front and rear

and not make the sides of the front and back to short.. lol it is funny when the wheel well is not a smooth curve and where the front fender meets the front bumper it doesn't line up... I think that is real funny.

there are quite a few companies out now that are making quality kits. Vis Racing (been dealling alot with them lately), Henshin Auto Designs (dealing alot with them for kits such as the Buddy Club 2) and there's a few others. But as always not a thing for the first gen. People need to understand that buying a cheaply made kit like the spyder 2 is gonna get into a lot of labor to get it to fit when they can try groupbuys with a company that will fit or have one custom made. Have one custom made gets into quite a bit of money but the results are excellant if done right.
