This probably belongs in the A/V section, but I did not see too many first gens in there.

I have an appointment on Saturday to go over how I want to do my trunk. I have a 12 disc changer, 2 12's and 2 amps, as you can see from my sig. I want to to a custom box that looks clean and built in. I also want to either display my amps tastefully or hide them all together. I also want access to my spare tire.

Any one in here done a job like this in their CL. Surely someone has. Could you please post ideas or better yet pics. Thanks.

I have a custom made box for my 2 10" which fit between the two tire wells in my trunk. No need to srews to hold down the box...FITS right in there...i can't even move it. and the Box cuts off right were the LID or FLAP for the spare comes up. And i have my three amps mounted onto the sub box. which is very clean looking. Planning on making a panel soon, so it hides the wires and only show the amps.

So maybe u could do the box that way...and move your cd changer to your center conseal..that's where i have mine...so i don't need to go to the trunk to change cds.

 

i have a custom box.. looks great, its something you should spend your money on!

If i were you i would get a custom box to slide in the back, maybbe put some pexi-glass in the front where your subs go.. (thats what i have with mirrors, and neon lights in it).. then flush mount your amps on the side of the trunk.. JMO
