Cross drilled rotors...
I am thinking about getting a set or two of brembo cross drilled rotors. Do you have to bleed the lines if you chage only them? Also, if i put in new rotors, should i change the pads as well? Do i have to bleed if i change them? I want to DIY, but bleeding isn't my thing. What model would a 3.0 be retrofitted with?

The prelude VTEC rotors fit the 3.0, I just got my rotors from the GB and he said that they were from that car. Everything is the same but the 2 lil screws the hold the rotor without the rim, but they aren't needed at all. If you get the rotors I would for sure put on new pads other wise the old pads would mark the crap out of your rotors. You do not need to bleed the brakes to do it. I just changed my rotors last week...it's really easy...if you have any questions about installing rotors email me...loveandsuccess2002@netzero.net

You don't need to bleed brakes to change rotors
I wish I would of known you guys found rotors that fit, i've been looking forever for cd'd rotors for a 99 3.0. I made the mistake once and bought 97 ones thinking they were the same.

I got Brembo cross drilled/slotted, with front ceremic pads and rear metal masters, for 300 out the door. I install all of in like a week ago. No bleeding brakes or anything...the only hard part was a couple of my screws on the rotor i have to drill out, the inpact driver would work.

-k-, can someone answer what yrs accords have the same brake set up as the 97 cl??, and same question for the 98-99 cl???
I went to try to buy some cross drilled and slotted rotors today but they told me it would be like $150 a rotor, and I need rotors pretty bad.

blah blah blah
30CLstyle: If you're having a hard time finding some. Go on the groupbuycenter. Look for Raceconcepts. Wood would be able to help you out. I got my rotors from him and he has great service. I believe they're having a groupbuy right now. Check on our Car Talk section.

Hey I was trying to change the front Rotors and pads on my Friend's 97 2.2 Cl last night and ran into a problem getting the rotors off. We Couldn't. it appears that the wheel hubs have to be removed from the steering knuckle/drive axle assembly to get the rotors off. There is a 36mm nut on the end of the drive axle that I assume holds the hub to the axle/knuckle, Is this true? and also we broke a craftsman breaker bar trying to get that 36mm nut loose. By any chance is it reverse threaded on the drivers side? Any answeres would be appreciated greatly. Also does anyone know where I could download the service manual for that car?

First there are apparently two types? I ordered the ractive fronts and they were the wrong size (260 mm front discs)
so i ordered the brembo's and they were right ( i don't know what the 260 mm front disc thing is about)
as far as installing - oh boy! --- Honda makes a tool apparently to remove thr pressed on fronts easily (i'm told), but my man didn't have that so we had to "split" the axle and use a lot of heat (blow torch) to remove -- was not fun at all -- look into the honda tool and good luck!
oh my baby is 97 2.2
and heres the link from where i ordered:
