Thumbs down Crash... sad face :(

lol, i just read hybriding's story.. man CL's these days are getting owned more and more.. we gotta like stop driving our cars.. lol

anyways. long story short (not really)

on the highway. people were pulled over. i was in left lane and there were lots of cars so i didnt see them pulled over.. so i went back to right lane cuz i was taking off ramp. and there were 2 cars ahead of me. the first one pulls over to help the pulled over car.. second car (truck) swerves to miss the first one. come BACK INTO MY FREAKin lane. and slams on i dont why freaking why his brakes.. and i bump him so ever gently. a hole and little hood damage. and then BANGGGG i get owned in the back. by a honda odyessy. and the car who i bump takes off.

pics

can yall help me find threads for installation/take off of front/rear bumper, trunk(if any), hood(im sure this is easy?) and my door is doesnt close flush, why? do you think there is any frame damage.. it still drives straight.

side dented in both sides

trunk, exhaust, bumper, chipped tail light owned

ya that trunk looks done...sorry to hear about your misfortune...trunk should be just like the hood to remove, it'll be just a couple bolts, and prolly that carpet you'll have to remove on the trunk lid...any pics of the door?

here's the removal page from the SM.

basically, 4 nuts hold the main section on and the bumper pulls straight off after all the clips on the side etc are removed. If you live in the salt belt, spray a lil penetrating lube on the bottom bolts or heat them with a torch if they are difficult to remove so they don't break off. Always better to be safe than sorry when working with rust.

From the looks of the damage with the floor pan being as wrinkled as it is. im sure the rearl structural "frame" rails of the car are kinked. They would need to be pulled on a frame machine by a certified auto body tech and straighten and replaced because you can never get all the kink out.. where your trunk meets the quarter panels by the top of the taillights the gaps tightened up from where the rear body panel was shoved in. This is probably gonna total the car you can buy it back with a salvage title and see about getting it repaired. Pretty major repair. I work at a GM dealer ships body shop and i am ICAR certified

If you could post under car pics on each side of the wheelwell where the spare sits those are the "FRAME" rails of the car. Sorry to hear about your wreck.. Sucks hopefully the insurance company dosent try to screw you over too bad. Same thing happend to my girlfriends civic. Got hit in back about the same amount of damage. good luck
