Could my exaust be slowing me down?

I think my exaust may be slowing me down. It's just the exaust and muffler. All I have with it is spark plugs and intake.

I've heard people say that you can lose power if you have too much back pressure. Shouldn't be a problem if you at least have intake. What size is your piping? And how big is the tip of your muffler?

It's not the 18's. I felt it when I had the stock rims on. The piping is all stock all the way up to the muffler. I don't know the size of thr tips maybe 2 1/2 inch dual tip. They came with the car when I bought it. Here is a pic of the exaust. It feels really sluggish in second gear. Maybe that's all CL's though.

You talking about 4000 rpm's and above? Below that you're not in the powerband.

Is your clutch worn?
