Constant +12volts Wire
Constant +12volts Wire
Which one is it under the driver's dash?
I'm installing a 530t window modulator, working on walkthrough but not sure how to get constant power! Which wire is it coming through the firewall that is constant?

"If you are just looking for an easy ignition and 12v source. Our cars by the driver kick panel fuse box has 3 open jumpers on the lower left. 1 is ign. and the other 12v. This way you don't have to splice into any wires. You just need a solderless female connection and plug it in."can anyone say if that works for 1st gen? And if so explain it a bit more?

I would DEFINITLY pay $50 to have this thing installed! It's more like 200 around here though.
It's under the dash so I think it would be silly to run all the way to the alarm unneccessarily.
What do you guys mean fuse box?
Got my voltmeter out and tested it to see. there are four sockets with a prong in them in the fuse box that you can hook up a crimp on female connector to. The one you want is socket #5 here is what the four sockets do:
#1: ignition power
#2: ignition power
#3: ?nothing
#5: Constant +12v
*don't think I can't count, they skipped #4 ;-)
