Comtech Headers?

Comtech Headers?
Anyone have comtech headers? Do you like them? I ordered them through Acura and they should be here in a few weeks and was wondering how much of a difference it will make if any.

Nice... another girl!! I saw a chick driving a cl the other day with rims and a drop... what a beautiful sight!!
Anyway, about the headers... I drove one at my dealer that had headers on it (with a stock exhaust...) and it had quite the little kick to it compared to mine... Plus it sounded better, a little louder... If i had the $1100 i'd go out and buy them too!

LoL, internet flirting amuses me. Anyway, it's $1100 to install the headers? I thought that was just the price for the 2nd gens. Acura Girl, what were the prices that you've seen out there? Anyone else, is there a headers topic i can search on that would tell me the differences between say getting a DCsports, OBX, comptech, etc headers? And whether ceramic, chrome, or whatever other material they use is the best to get?

Actually the 30whp is for the CL-S... the First gen is getting around 17-20hp..... 17.9 @ 6750 RPM is the max gain according to Comptech.

as always 100% correct... but to add to that with a CAI you cant get near 25hp at the wheels... the exhaust does nothing but burn a hole in your pocket with 2hp...
so all together you can reach, by word of comptech, 25hp at most... but hey, they got the SC coming at 50hp for $4500.00
so thats what, $6000.00 for 75hp... DAMN.. but I'm crazy enough enough for it...

My boyfriend has a hook up at the Acura dealership so I'm getting the Comptech headers for $150. I'm not sure what to do next to "Cindy" though, maybe lower and save for wheels.

Is $150 what you meant to type????!!!???!!?? I'm not an expert on Acura's pricing, but even if that is cost for Acura, which I highly doubt that it is, then that means that they mark it up 800% to retail at $1100???!?!?!?!?
Maybe I'm cynical, but if thats really the deal, then I'm going to go make friends at the acura dealership right after work.
BTW, does anyone know how much whp the 2.2 would gain with headers and a CAI??

It's prob $150 cuz owner knows someone who works at Acura..............friend who works there jacks the headers for Acura and gives them to friend on the street for $150....a one time deal.

i have a 4cyl so getting headers is no big problem.

As far as $150.. NO WAY IN HELL!!!! I know the owner of the ACURA dealership and comptech only sell sat discount rates if you order mass quantity and thats a hell of alot of headers for that big a discount!!!! I can only get them for $1000 even!!!!!

YES you are correct.. Comptech is sole maker of 3.0 Headers!!! sucks shit too....
