Colored Caliper & Power Slot Opinions?

It's almost time for a brake job on my '99 2.3 CL.

I appreciate any opinions you may have. I've considered Brembo and others.

I'm @ 145,000KM (90 625Mi).

I'm leaning towards the Power Slots up front and back.

I found a place that offered colored Calipers (with the option for pre-installed Hawk pads).

The name of the place is: XRC Brakes

Here is the total of the parts (including shipping):

Your Car: 1999 ACURA CL
Part Color: Orange Metal Flake
Category Axle Quantity Price Each Price
Loaded Caliper Axle Set Front Left & Right 1 $298.95 $298.95
Loaded Caliper Axle Set Rear Left & Right 1 $298.95 $298.95
PowerSlot Dimpled Axle Set Front Left & Right 1 $171.38 $171.38
PowerSlot Dimpled Axle Set Rear Left & Right 1 $129.80 $129.80
Order Subtotal $899.08
Sales Tax ---
UPS Standard Shipping $71.47
Order Total $970.55

Is this considered a good deal?

Has anyone heard good/bad on these calipers, or the company selling them?

Any info/opinions would be greatly appreciated

powerslot aka aem is aight. pretty good deals on them.

not too sure about those calipers. they may be good? they may be bad? i dont know. they look whack.

its no BBK, but the price isn't bad. however, if im dishing out that much money for upgraded brakes, id spend a lil more for somethin top notch.

That's a lot of money for painted calipers and such, just paint your calipers, and install brakes and rotors. they're interesting though

I dont see why spend 2300$ on brakes, when really we dont have all that power... just my two cents. Only reason why i would buy them would be to have that bigg ass rotor and caliper but still way tooooooooooooooooooooo much money for brakes.

not everyone has 2300 bucks to dish out... and the calipers are really ugly when rusted over.. so people end up painting them

simple as that.
