what does this mean??? i was just driving down the road and my CEL light came on. i had my cat replaced a month or so ago. now i cant go past 4krpm?? someone help me

 

take the egr valve off and clean it out with carb cleaner. then reset your ecu. the car will only rev to 4k because the egr code is making the engine go into limp mode.

 

^ that happened to me too, and once i cleaned the egr valve everything was ok

 

can someone give me a location??????

 

front right side of engine if your standing in front of ya car facing windshield, it’ll be right under the plastic guide /shield that holds ya wires in place, it has a connecter on it and 2 bolts, its parallel to your battery if its on the right. I forgot the size I think it’s a 12mm

i would rather just buy a new one if its reasonable enought rather than clean this one and have it clog up in a month or so. can anyone guide me as to where i can get a new one cause ebay doesnt seem to have em except for the V6 onces thanks
