Cocoa's Work Emotions are in!

And I can't take pics cause I'm at work. My brother just called me to tell me. I'm going to try my best to get the flares in so that I can sport these to the All Cali meet.

Just called the shop, seems like they don't have the time to get the flares in before next wednesday (the day I leave to Cali). So I guess that'll have to wait for when I come back. But I was just looking at the R compound tires I'm going to get, man, I can't wait to try them out. Going to go with the Nitto NT01's, 235/40/R17.

For the stock rims I have now, I just got the Hankook rs2's for the track event out in Cali. So I'll have some fresh tires for the meet anyways

why not bring the flares with you to Cali? you have almost two weeks here and can have it put on before the meet...

Edit: nevermind... i messed up my date... looking at the wrong calendar...

Spoke with a shop out in Cali, they're going to try to get the flares on before the track day. But they need to see them first so they know how much work will be involved.

Hes getting flares for that reason, so they're not hanging out.

..now for some new rotors and painted calipers...

17s are perfect size.

I recommend Goodyear Eagle F-1's Z-Rated..

The more I see your car, the more I want to wash it.

Believe it or not, those rotors and pads are brand new, lol. But I'm going with a BBK from Wilwood before the summer ends.

My plans for the next 3 months are as follow:

Roll cage
Lexon glass
BBK

I'm using the Nitto NT01's. Their competition tires.

For the stockies, I have the Hankook RS2's which are competitive with the Azenis. My friends just wanted me to try them out, cause they said they are more consistant on the track. That's why I got those. I didn't expect for the rims to come in before I left to Cali, so now my friends and I are going to try to get those flares on so I can use the R compounds instead for the tracks, lol.

I was a little disapointed with the weight, they weigh in at 22lbs each. I was hoping for 18lbs. Yes, it's a +25 offset, and an 8 inch wide rim. I was going with that offset to widen the track base a bit, knowingly that I was going to need flares. I think the wider look will also make it look more aggresive, which I would like to see more out of this car. I really want to turn this into a track car.

17x8 +25 all around? I think you can do w/o the flares, if youre willing to mildly alter your fenders.

What I plan on doing is actually cutting the flares that I have, and only using the bare minimum that I need. We're going to throw the rim on there with 245's or 235 and have the flares give enough clearance for hard cornering, and nothing more. So the flares won't look like your typical flares that come out insane, but it should come out to look like mild flares ribbeted on and give it that extra edge. I honestly think I'll only need an inch wider on each side in the front to give the tires perfect clearance.
